Filming Day 1

Our first day of filming consisted of shooting the park and brick wall scene. Our group met in Tonbridge park with our actors Ebony Paice, Ben Bradley, Brian Bradley and Ethan Simpson.

We met early morning so the park was not very busy and we were rarely disturbed whilst filming.
we decided to film the scene in two different ways. The first was with our actress wearing dark clothes. The second was with her wearing clothes that go with our colour scheme. We did this as we were not sure if the colour scheme clothes would look odd with the rural background. After looking at the footage we agreed that the colour scheme clothes were much better.

Our most challenging thing to film was the wipe screen. The original plan was for the screen to wipe with one of the running boys. However we changed it so it wipes with a man walking after them. This was because he was taller so filled the whole shot, making it edit to do the transition. We instructed the actor to say as he walks past 'come here you little fuckers'. This adds comedy to the opening. At the brick wall we then had to make sure our actor walked past the same distance from the camera so he is the same size and the transition flows smoothly.
