Our initial idea is a indie teenage drama focusing on drugs. It is inspired by films such as the basketball diaries and requiem for a dream. It would start on a blank screen with the ambient sounds of a cafe. The screen will fade into a scene showing a busy cafe and the camera will zoom into a girl sitting alone. She will be a teenager looking troubled; dark circles, messy clothing. The shot will zoom right into the pupil of her eye. As the camera zooms out of the eye she will be in a different location: a bedroom. Her eye will be bloodshot with dilated pupils. She will be lying on a bed sweating and shivering with sparse, dirty clothing. This is to make it evident that she is on drugs. The camera will pan around the room slowly focusing on certain objects. The credits will be shown here, embedded into props. For example written on the label of a cigarette packet.
